If Crysis 2 remained in the jungle it could fall under criticism of it being a re-boxed Crysis one, regardless of its incredible new look. Expanding the story and placing you into a new environment should keep things fresh and new. I look forward to the change.

The most trees you will see in the game will be in Central Park, I saw a pretty good screen shot of it.

What I will miss is the beautiful open water and seas - using boats, swimming underwater, and playing with the sharks. I don't think there will be a lot, if any places to swim.

My problem with it is, it either all jungle, like in Crysis 1, or all City, like in Crysis 2. I wish we could get some more variation of both. But I like MP, so in the smaller MP maps, maybe we will. I also hope there is a way to bring in the MP maps from Wars. Some of them were really good.

I don't like the decision to move to New York. I think a city like Seoul or New Delhi would have been more exciting. Everybody has seen New York. In a southeast Asian city, you would have slum destructability awesomeness, jungle backdrop for familiarity, and close quarter urban warfare. Its also fresh and hasnt been done before. New York is just meh, no good. :( I hope it gets blasted to smitherines in Crysis 2 so we can go somewhere better in Crysis 3.

I forgot to mention that a place like New Delhi would be fresh to exploration. Too many people have seen New York already, so there is no point in Sandbox gameplay. Not many people have been to Seoul or New Delhi, this makes it great for Sandbox gameplay where you get that fresh sense of openness and exploration.

New York just has that stale "been there done that" feeling to it. =(

Crysis 2 needs to be set in New Mombassa.

Major Strickland: It's gonna jump, inside the city!

Im kind of expecting that there will be some mission with trees/ jungle, I think they will want to show off all capabilities of the engine within the game.

not at all. I look forward to throwing bricks.

only thing that makes me sad is there's no innocent helpless little Korean soldiers to frighten, confuse, and methodically slaughter.

XD true lol, but i think with alot of work and dedication, you can make a crysis 2 looking map in CE2 and a crysis 1 looking map in CE3 (ofc) and you guys just all forgot a factor about new york..... ITS RIGHT NEXT TO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.... u guys worrying about no sharks?... just jump into the ocean and hopefully, you wont be disappointed ^^. and i think your opinion is good talon, but u do have to be realistic, i mean, NY is a big, important city, and nobody cares about the slums, i mean, if the military is gonna defend something, it has to be important, and the place theyre gonna stay has to be strong, and i dont think slums are strong. Plus, they would be crushed if they still tried to defend the slums :D. but nonetheless, it is a good idea, and it would be fun to destroy it :D . but im really looking forward to what happened to nomad, psycho, and prophet, and how that alcatraz guy got that suit, as well as why and when. Also how the aliens modified themselves and launched the full scale attacks :D. lol, basically, i wanna know EVERYTHING... but then i have to look around for tapes and stuff :(.

Maybe....Just Maybe we could make jungles and maybe the team can add the animals from the first game into the second by using the Sandbox Creator. Me and my friends plan to make a jaws remake on the Ps3 Version
