The forum isn't "screwed" because abusive/vulgar/swearing/trolling posts are being removed and this isn't an effort to silence people at all, if that's what is being suggested here. You'll notice there are still retained posts that are negative but posted at least somewhat respectfully.
As i stated, negative feedback is good and is welcomed. Knowing what's good about something doesn't help you fix issues, so that's why negative feedback is good. I believe i made it fairly clear what's not acceptable in the other post.
Moderation decisions may seem fairly harsh at the moment but we're limited on functionality luxuries like stickies and locked topics. Once this functionality is available, rules will be defined more clearly. Until then, please use a little common sense and common courtesy, which should be used at all times, regardless of site functionality, really.

The definition of sodomy is not something i made up in my own mind. It's also a level of content not welcome on this forum. It alone was not the reason your post was removed but a contributor, nonetheless.
It is possible to give feedback/criticism without being angry/abusive. Whether or not a person has that level of self control is up to them. Failure to exercise such a basic level of control results in moderation required.
You're right in suggesting you're able to share your opinion, regardless of whether it's indeed fact or not. However, abusive posts coupled with no fact don't add anything of merit to conversation, at all. More often than not, it in fact does the opposite and derails threads, hence the reason why the post was removed. It had no fact and it wasn't even about the topic.
Again, in a nutshell - negative feedback is good, just remove the abuse/sarcasm/trolling/etc before hitting submit. That's really all there is to it.
I for one totally afree with the above, This is a community forum and quite rightly should be and has been well moderated.
It is essential to keep some order on a forum, abusive and dissruptive statements are bocoming a real problem of late, and this is a reason that I dont participate so much as before.
IMO, you can all say anything you wish, but just say it with some respect and consideration to the forum as a whole.
It Is so easy to express your self politely.
