Back when clans used to mean something...

Post » Mon Nov 24, 2008 6:39 pm

I remember the old days. The counter strike days. Back then I owned a fully operational CAL registered clan and we were pretty tight on the field. Today, seems more like the casual market has taken over. Now, im no super pro 20 and O natural born killer... at least, not on console lol but I do want to join up with a more serious group. I dont want to run around griefing people and aimlessly roaming the map with a team loaded with mems rockin the clan logo. I actually want to find some tactical content to enjoy online. We all know that "team" anything online these days is a joke, because nothings organized. Thats what im looking for. A team that wants to organize and become a single operating unit. Dont need or want any massive clans with half the playing population recruited... 8 - 16 or so members is plenty. Keeps things closer knit between the members.

Anyone out there recruiting?

totally agree, 5+ year ago clans consisted of a leader co leader and a good rank structure that made organisation work and people in the clans were loyal and tried to improve their skills and have training days etc hell i remember playing Jedi knight academy and i would take people under my wing and teach them to be killers in game... and i earned respect for it.

To all those LDR's out there bring back the good ole honest loyal clanning community

hi maybe your interested in this clan http://tuaclan.com/
if your interreted to join you will be first in a try out then you can see if you like the clan
we are a big clan 483 members but whe are little in the crysis 2 section i'm the officer there
and you will do the try outs by playing with me (or against me if you joined the matches and my team is full) but i'm from the ps3 side so if your on the pc side youll be on tryouts with a guy named therealportz.
though youll have to be active on the forums and have a min of 30 posts needed to be fully accepted but that will happen fast it's worth to give it a try
