I just started playing again after taking about a month off and now i cant fast travel. no matter where I am it says 'can not fast travel from this location' I am playing on hardcoe/normal just like I always have. I am not overcumbered and have no idea whats going on. anybody have any idea?

Are you at Hoover Dam? The final quest?
If so, you can't fast-travel anywhere, better reload a previous save before you activated the final quest or start a new character.
And before you go "Well that's bullcrap!". No, it isn't, there was a pop up right before the final quest that told you that it was the point of no return and if you failed to read it you have yourself to blame.

If you're "not" at Hoover Dam or at Legats Camp then feel free to disregard this reply.

Don't get all hostile on me. I may be new to the forums, but I not new to Fallout. Thanks for your help though..

Don't see where I was being hostile really but I assure you it was not my intention and am sorry if you saw my post that way. :mellow:

I can see how you could constrew that as perhaps hostile, but it's not personal, more I think the frustration that grows from already having about a thousand people posting something about how they aparently missed the huge warning at the end there.

If you're going everywhere though, and reloading the game doesn't help either, IDK because that would be something you're missingf from being overweight to... I don't know, something actually more likely. But if it's a bug I've not heard of it before... you're not in the middle of doing the dead money dlc, are you?

are you over encumbered? are you inside a building?

Are you in Dead Money? lol.


Maybe try walking over to a town like Primm or Goodsprings.

Could we get info on were your at and your current quest i really cant say anything nesides what they said already.
