lag on ps3 may just end up being the way **** works. sony doesnt want to spend the money on dedicated servers, and PS3 users enjoy their free online access. Microsoft has servers for their network play, but they charge you. Its the only thing that microsoft actually has going for it above sony, but thats just a simple matter of choice. Sony just doesnt want to. Which is good. I, for one, will never pay internet for a game.. i pay my monthlys to my ISP and thats plenty enough. But, if we want super speed, we have to have dedicated servers to play on. its just one of those things. connections i honestly believe are just a simple part of the P2P network. when the host leaves, the game has to compensate. it has to find a new host. if this happens during a loading session, i could see how that would just kickeveryone out of the match and that would be it. as for during the match, probably the same thing, but for some reason the computer brainfarts and doesnt link up to a new host. so, the game disbands. just p2p problems. might be improvable, but i wouldnt doubt if there was nothing they could do about it
