1.crysis warhead
2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9(not by order)
ArmA II
Just Cause 2
bad company 2
trials 2
assassin's creed 2
world in conflict
RUSE
sins of a solar empire

i cant scale them, but warhead looks great overall, arma 2,just cause 2, world in conflict, sins of a solar empire are great in detail, bad company 2,trials and world in conlict look great 'cause of special effects like esplosions, bloom, depth of field and sevrel shaders and filters, but without all these they are ugly.AC2,BC2,trials 2,ruse,they look great because every single object and texture on the screen looks and feels natural and real.
but crysis 2 is looking to be the best at all these things

ps:i just remmeberd a mafia trialer i saw,and it loos like a #2 right under the cry-sieries.

BFBC2? I run that game with only 30fps on low, meanwhile I get 110fps playing Crysis Wars on low. I will admit that my processor is sub-average, but that is no excuse for the game to run like constipated **** when I have an above average graphics card and RAM. That game is optimized like ****.

1. Crysis with tod mods and quality configs
2. Metro 2033 - in some areas it looks way better than crysis, in other areas it doesn't and the facial animations aren't that good
3. Killzone 2

@Talon

Dual core? I run med/high settings in BC2 and get a solid 60+ the whole time, sometimes over 100fps. BC2 really needs a Quad to run nicely. Also, i've gotten as little as 30fps on low in Crysis MP on Beach. SP, of course, runs fine.

Unfortunately I have an Intel Core Two Duo E6750 @ 2.7GHz. I have been looking to upgrade to the Intel Core Two Quad Q6700 @ 2.7GHz, but I have been waiting for the price to drop. Will 2 more cores really help that much? My motherboard is terrible with overclocking the Q series, so keep that out of the equation. ;)

1) Crysis Series
2) Uncharted 2
3) God Of War 3

I would put GT5 in there but its a racing game, and racing games generally look good due to the fact that they only need to focus on the cars (with GT5 being the best). The environmental textures are repetitive and generally low res, as why would you need to pay attention to something that you are constantly speeding past, its not like youre going to stop in the middle of a race and look at grass or bulidings?

Waiting for Q6700 prices to come down? They're been EOL since 2008 when the 45nm Q9xx's came out. Wouldn't you be looking at getting at least one of those instead? And yeah, it makes a huge difference :) In many games Quads are starting to really excel.

My motherboard is incompatible with the 45nm Quad Cores. :( Also, what does EOL mean? There have been scattered reports of the Q9500 working on my motherboard, but that is with many boot/clocking problems because of BIOS incompatibility.

I go with
1, Crysis/ warhed, for best looking.
2, BFBC2 good graphics and performance.
3, Splinter Cell Conviction, love the splinter/ series.

@ Talon,
Even The cheapest Quad makes so much difference,
I have the Athlon x4 620, at 2.6, Games seem to push it to about 70% it seems to be more than enough for now, but I suspect it wont be too long when I need an upgrade, lol. :-)

1. Crysis/Crysis warhead of course
2. Just cause 2/Uncharted 2 (Uncharted 1 has fell off the list, as a recent replay has shown that it has aged a lot now, and compared to standard pc ports, it isn't much chop an more, still a great game ofc)
3. Guild wars 2 (although not technically awesome, the art style of the environments and characters makes this one helluva pretty game to look at).
