I can not get anyone to repair a Ranger Helmet. I have one but it is very low and needs to be repaired. I have visited the level 100 repairers to no avail. When I ask for repairs, the ranger helmet is in the list...but "greyed out", as opposed to "blacked out". I have plenty of caps. How do I get myself a fully up to snuff ranger helmet?

Did you un-equip it?

You need either another ranger helmet or the jury rigging perk.

Just get the juryrigging perk and repair it with a pair of glasses.
i could never get anyone to fix it niether, i think its because its an item that is suppost to have weight but doesnt, but idk, cant tell ya really

Thanks gang. I'm not much on stealing from or killing an NCR Ranger to get another ranger helmet to repair with (at least, in this go around ;-P)
So the Jury Rigging perk it will be next chance I get. I honestly didn't know about this perk and have added it to my "want" list for the next goround. The list for this is growing by leaps and bounds...the more I play, the more I find things I would do differently next time!
