Kudos, however...

There's no denying the absolute visual flair that makes up this game! Kudos there... well deserved!

However, I might have to take back those kudos I just bestowed upon the Crytek team because technical proficiency doesn't make a game engrossing, captivating or worth my hard-earned-cash!

I am only 4 hours into the game and have to say that my urge to progress is dwindling by the minute. Bugs, glitches and spotty frame rate I am willing to live with but what takes the juice out of playing Crysis 2 for me is the weak A.I! Weak being an understatement here... It kills the very reason for carefully planning your attacks! It kills every reason for continuing Crysis 2...

Crysis 2 was my most anticipated game for this year! This game has disappointed me a bit. I am trying to be forgiving because I do understand the difficulties of making such a game, especially a game that has such high production values. One look at Crysis 2 and there's no denying the love and passion that went into this game. If only the A.I was competent enough to make me loose myself in the midst of playing... almost every encounter with a soldier has me shake my head in disbelieve and anger.

I do hope you guys put your act together for your next game! Instead of making all these crazy statements about super advance A.I etc, etc... get real gamers to play-test your game first before ever considering of releasing your game!
