Now a days, basicly everyone is a gamer, so that doesn't really count.

You all DO realize this is time your GOING to be sitting there anyways... right? The game's gata load eventually, so having something that uses actual CPU power or memory (changing loadouts) would be unreasonable unless they made it super lightweight. Besides, this is something you could just do in like 2 seconds once you get ingame if you prepared properly anyway. It takes virtually nothing to play videos now and day (so those of you who bought a decked out laptop to just play dvd's got ripped off) so having a bit of a filler while waiting SHOULD be a nice break, but the points obviously being missed.

And i'm sure they'll have the option for people to stare at a boring static screen if you want...

Oh, and btw, other games HAVE done this before... however some have outright failed by LOADING a video, then playing it, THEN loading the next sequence... SD just actually got it right. Also, it would be stupid if they had it where you HAD to watch it even after its all done loading. Its only 30 seconds long though, incase you didnt know. Said that in an interview...
