Who else likes this game?

I agree, I'm loving this game, and honestly this was a sleeper game to me. I played the demo, but it didn't really pull me in. I was worried it was going to be to Halo-esque with the nanosuits and abilities. I've always stuck with the more RL FPS games. My friends and I had been waiting for Homefront, which I tried to stay optimistic about after release, but once we couldn't get into any matches last Tues I gave up hope. A game shouldn't get worse after release lol. Maybe I'll give it another shot in about 6 months. None of my friends had played the C2 demo either, but we all said **** it and decided to pick it up. I can say we are all very impressed and happy to finally have a game I feel I'll be playing for awhile!

We did run into some laggy games a few times last night, but once we picked up in a new lobby we were good to go for awhile. Definitely not bad for a brand new release. Only other issue I noticed is some sound issues. The music in the lobby would get crazy loud sometimes and a couple times the guided friggin lazor beam, can't remember the name lol, killstreak would get loud and distorted. More of an annoyance than anything, which I'm sure all will be fixed in a patch.

Looking forward to the fun to be had in Crysis 2. Think I'll be around for a min :)

I honestly was not going to pick up Crysis 2 but I was getting bored with the typical "Modern" combat games like CoD, Battlefield, and MoH. Needed something with a sci-fi feel, and after a couple of friends purchased the game I decided to buy it. So far I really enjoy it, both the single player and multiplayer have their own unique feel.

Played Crysis, Warhead and now Crysis 2. All three game are great. Nice graphics, nice gameplay and I love the story though I still feel that Crysis 2 is a step back by going the DX 9 path. Yeah, it looks like the prettiest DX 9 game, occasionally looking better than Bulletstorm but seriously, I would love to see some Geometry Shaders and Tessellation in action and the water rendering is really cheap. DX 9's soft shadowing and particles still loses out to the first two games and I can see them despite the so call fast pace nature of the game. Multiplayer, nah, didn't try it out cause I'm not a multiplayer type of gamer.

Conclusion:

Greatness: Story, Gameplay, Modified aliens and Vertical environment
Ugliest: Graphics

And I hate the fact that the game is released for consoles. And I have nothing to boast about; Saying to my friends that I have the best gaming system and Crysis 2 is the only game that tax my system at extreme DX 11 setting. But I guess it's just me.
The only problem with running DX 10 or 11 on the xbox is that the hardware just doesnt support it. Xbox is built on pretty old stuff. Still great graphics for a 6-7 year old console.

Great game, Minor fixes needed here & there. but it's to be exspected from a new release. And i am sure they are working overtime to correct those issues. I never played the first ones, and i bought this game cause a friend told me that it's a great game. And he was right. The single player is exciting & fun. And the MP is just out right a blast. Looking forward to many hours spent infront of the tv sliding around the maps and engaging my cloak.

Loving the game myself. Have only put a few hours into it but I have had a blast so far. Looks like the reviewers have gotten this one correct!

I am really enjoying Crysis2 and am glad they made it available for the XB360, even if there had to be some graphics concessions. Having played Crysis on a great PC I can still say that the 360 graphics are plenty good enough to enjoy the game and are pretty impressive in places. What is hard for me is to settle into the Crysis2 story and rate-of-action comfortably after just having finished playing the Bulletstorm campaign through in Normal , then Hard, and then Very Hard modes. . . Sorry but going from that level of intensity to the Crysis2 game does take some settling into a different game groove . . . but C2 is cool! Thanks Crytek . . .

Only on mission 12 (out of 19 I thing) on the campaign, and level 11 on multiplayer...but I think this game is Epic! I love it!

Amazing game all around, played the original on my PC just last year (first time i had a pc strong enough to play it) and i think crytek really put some serious love into C2 and really improved on the game, i thought the AI on crysis 1 was extremely dumb, Crysis 2 AI is such a breath of fresh air compared to the standard shooting alley gameplay of the COD/COD clones saturating the market right now, and even with the added linearity with this crysis (which i thought was going to ruin the game) they really did a fantastic job of still allowing you the freedom to approach each set how you want to, ive completed the game once now and starting again just because of the varied ways to attack a mission...really reminds me of hitman-silent assasin on its ability to create a large variety of techniques to complete the objective...soooo much fun!

I am in love with Crysis 2, the only problems I am seeing are connection based issues in multiplayer.

A lot of Multiplayer lobbies I get into never start... it will count down and just restart the countdown over and over.. and if I finally get into a lobby it will lose connection 90% of the time :/ I have never had connection problems on any system or pc at my house so I am believing it is something server side or a game issue.

i had this but eventually resolved itself. another glitch i had involved a mob in sp teleporting 1 mile upwards then falling back and somehow surviving lol.

sp i am really enjoying, mp too standard for my tastes but mechanics seem very solid, all in all 9.5/10 so far (only got today)
