I would love to be able to get C2 from steam, im a real steam-boy fan and imo it would increase the popularity immensely - thoughts?

Many games are switching to steam. It's the best way to keep the piracy as low as possible while being easy to just start and play. I still like having a disk, though, since it's much faster to install and I can always have the disk to install and play if the internet is down. If they do put it on steam, they will get plenty of promotion, that's for sure.

Well, a person like me hates Steam because I download games at about 80 kb/sec (it took Bad Company 2 about 2 days to finish loading).

But for the overall community, I think it would be a good choice.

Hell no, the only online game that requires steam to run i have is MW2, and the steam just makes it worse (i get a ton of errors), the game is already that bad and steam just adds to it.
But of course it's gonna be in the steam store.

for me its like Sitting-Duc wrote... there isnt only the easy way of purcasing over steam, it provides a realy good friendlist, updates and for some games the option to invite friends ... i hope it will come for steam

I'd expect to see it on Steam for sale, but would prefer it not require Steam to run.

I thin k steam is already really popular... Crysis 2 can't make it's popularity go up that much than it already has. Still I have Wars for steam and would like to see C2 for steam as well.
