Is this made by the same ppl?

Post » Sun Jan 25, 2009 2:06 pm

I find it hard to beleive this game was made by the same people who made crysis/warhead.....

I feel like I paid 60$ for faulty software, i have a HD 5970 = flickering. It's unplayable, how did they not test this?

Clearly your computer is not up to par with the system requirements for the game.

I can run the game just fine, like many people, your lack of proper hardware isn't the same as lazy development.

I hope Kopimi is trolling. So many posts with that problem and the community follows Crytek blindly saying it's our fault. Wake up everyone, Crysis put out **** developed software and its being problematic for a lot of people. A 5970 is perfectly capable of playing this game.

A 5970 should decimate this game. The problem is that its full of bugs and unoptimized to run on PC. Guess they didn't quite get the XBox emulator going right. As for "Are they the same people", I've been wondering that myself. The original programmers must have quit, so they hired a bunch of people who only knew how to write console code.

ATI users with dual GPU's disable Catalyst AI and that should solve the issue. But ya I do feel like its no where near the quality of crysis. I miss the MP in 1 those fights were bigger and grander and more importantly HAD VEHICLES. I think the MP was dumbed down so it can be ported to console.

Game runs fine for me. Must be ATI. ATi svcks on any game launch day. They always gotta patch the game in. Which is why I went with Nvidia even on an AMD board. Seriously don't feel like waiting a week while a GPU manufacturer releases good drivers for a game that's been out already.

The issue really only effects DUAL GPU systems, there is enough complaints from both ATI and NVIDIA users its not that ones drivers svck more than the others its the fact the game has issues with dual GPU setups.

Your lack of hardware knowledge is staggering.
The 5970 is arguablly the second fastest single card, behind AMD's 6990.

Most of the games on it's launch will have trouble running in a dual-GPU rig. That's why the best this is to buy a powerful GPU instead of dual-GPUs, thay always have trouble one way or another. :\

Well some people play on multi monitor setups in resolutions that a single GPU can't handle or simply max everything out and have the game run smoothly at high rates on a single monitor.

Multi GPU doesn't mean its a single card, alot of people run the fastest single GPU cards in multi card setups making them a multi GPU RIGS. So ya your "buy a powerful GPU" argument is a mute point since if you noticed alot of the people with the issues tend to have some of the most powerful GPU's currently available times two or three.

I was not able to find a single goddamn server in my 20 mins. with the PC demo. How many bad decisions can Crytek make with this game?

1. It's a console port with no mod or dx11 support.
2. MP uses the same shoddy gamespy servers.
3. To worsen the matter, you have integrated gamespy unified login into your website.
4. Your website is bloated and inefficient.
5. The "forgot my password" will send me a link to reset the password for an e-mail that has never been registered.

WTF is wrong with you people?

both ATI and Nvidia have the same problem, its because of DUAL GPU cards.
