Post » Mon Jan 26, 2009 2:24 pm

Does anyone know if Crytek has said the system requirements for lowest and highest for Crysis 2. I'd like to get a ruff idea of what my computer will be able to do.

When you say lower do you mean lower than Crysis highest setting?

Hi, am new here. I was just going to ask the same. really, i think that it's going to be more heavy running full, but it will work on slower machines with all low. just an opinion.

Considering the game is going to run on Xbox 360 and PS3, the requirements will be less than Crysis' requirements. Console versions will probably be running with medium settings.

CryENGINE 3 is better optimized, so it will have smaller/equal system requirements than CryENGINE 2

I hope you be right, however, one thing i love of crysis is that it really takes power of my machine with awesome graphics, if c2 doesn't, you know...

As some others have said, All I've seen so far on the internet is that it's expected that Crysis 2 / CryEngine 3 will have less system requirements to run.

This is more than likely accomplished given the fact that they've had time to perfect the already great CryEngine2 and transform it to have lesser requirements with the same if not better appearance. It's possible, and I'd leave it up to these guys before I would any other gaming company out there to accomplish it.
