At least in Windows 7. I no longer have to enter the key each time for multiplayer

Im usng Windows 7 but this doesnt work for me. I bought the game through steam because generally its reliable(although its favor has dropped). Even ging into the root folder and running as admin doesnt help. To make matters worse, everytime I click customize my game crashes, aparently my serial code is already in use, and I cant see any npcs in the campeign. This game played well on the demo(atleast on consoles, not so much pcs from what Ive heard), I dont understand why there are all these bugs, a few graphical glitches and some bad AI scripting I dont mind, but bugs that actually prevent me from playing the game annoy me greatly.

Running the game as admin fixes the key not being saved for me. Retail game, Windows 7 64 bit SP1 with UAC enabled.

+1 I put this in another topic. I can also confirm running as admin fixes it. I'm on win 7 X64 pro, steam version.

It does not work. I have UAC turned off (never had it on in fact). Creating a new player profile (don't use the default one) fixed it for my friend. Haven't tried it myself.

did not work for me because I was running it as admin from the beginning and still had a problem. I'm on Vista 64-bit though maybe its just a windows 7 issue.

I fixed my issue a really weird way.. I posted it here:

Seems stupid.. but it worked.
