Nanocrystals Warning. (Bit of a spoiler)

Post » Thu Jan 29, 2009 12:26 am

Make sure you spend as many Nanocrystals as you can before you finish the game. As some of you my know there are some big 5k enemys right at the end.

I had 26,000 ish nano crystals when I had completed the game.

When you return to select a mission you get all the enhancements you had at the end of the game but you will be in minus nanocrystals.

I have now got -26,000 nanocrystals as I start picking through missions on super soldier level. So it'llbe a while before I can make use of any other enhancements. (This then starts counting down as you kill the SEPH.

Not the end of the world but I wouldn't have minded plying about with the others during my replays.

The same thing here, but im still at my first walkthrough. -500, also not able to collect ammo for SCAR Rifle. Always 40/-120 reload 40/0 and not able to pick up more ammo.

That's weird..... I had enough money to buy everything I missed out on as soon as I started my supersoldier playthrough. Just finished veteran.

I also didn't kill the end-game enemies. I had all the nano enhancement I wanted and took a pure stealth approach. Aliens never even knew I was there till they were all dead. Felt like playing a first person Metal Gear. AWESOME.

Did you begin a new campaign or go to mission select.

I Started on supersoldier. Changed the difficulty to soldier after one mission (didn't know you couldn't put it back up :)

So I am going through the replay mission route and yeah ... Big fat minus numbers for me :)

Yea, i'm having this problem now, i'm at the second to last mission and just realized my 22,000 nano i was just about to spend was now negative. And whenever i pick more up it just deducts it from the negative, i don't think ill ever be able to get it back into positive.
I still have many things i was going to buy too..
