Well... if light goes through it then i guess a thermal visor would not be able to see it
im definitely no tech whiz, but i didnt think anything could cut off thermal visibility except a ridiculously efficient form of insulation. which i guess could be possible with these suits considering the price tag, but i think that would be an inherent perk that was active regardless of cloak. cloak im assuming works the same way as the "predators" cloaking device (seeing as how real tech for this doesnt actually exist, just have to use movies for examples lol) and he was still thermally visible even when cloaked. heats a funny thing. doesnt have to sense YOU, necessarily, but (in reality) your body will always leave a trail of heat and/or atmoshperic density changes.
Its all nonsense and doesnt really matter. I know why they do what they do, because nano vision doesnt drain much energy and people would just nerf the whole concept entirely by just walking around with it turned on half the time. but at the same time, i think it lacks realism because of that, and doesnt give a whole lot of reason to use nanovision at all. just IMHO
