The Grendel Is Bad Period.

It looks cool, stats seem good. But it svcks. The burst are too slow. And its overall very weak. Doesn't make sense that a gun that accurate shouldn't be more effective than it is. I don't know, I gave it two tries. On the second try I had the worst two games I've ever had. And I usually do very well with burst weapons. If you (devs) don't believe me, check the stats on this gun. I'm sure it among the lowest kills, assist, everything. Beef it up some, it needs some help.

Use it with single fire, it's much more effective and you can shoot faster with it since it becomes semi-auto. It's much more effective like this and you waste less bullets

I agree with you man. I bought it as soon as I made rank and it svcks. I don't like the short bursts. I haven't tried it with single fire. I played 2 games with it as soon as I got it and it was my worst 2 games.

I mostly use it, but I use it as a long range fire weapon, and I have aim assit and assault scope which helps a lot.

I can manage to kill people around 40% of the time up close face to face but mid to long range this DOMINATES.(IMO) The first game I used it I nostalgia'd HARD, that set aside I find the burst fire perfectly fine its at a nice pace but the only time I feel the burst fire is too slow is when I'm in a gun fight with a Feline. It almost seems the character flinches while being shot, Idunno, maybe its just me but overall I like it.

All the weapons have different range. You should expect people to snipe properly with the Hammer like you wouldn't expect to have the Grendel have the same role as the Scar; it's not Call of Duty in which you have just 10 variations of the same type of weapon.

Pistol, SMG and Scar go in the frontline while Grendel, Sniper Rifle and Light machine gun do the support.

While I understand that it is meant to be a long-range weapon, I still can't make the Grendel work for me. I find myself consistently falling back on the SCAR, as I see little to no difference in it's range/handling comparatively. IMO, the Grendel is underpowered at any range. And am I the only one who thinks it reloads hella slow?

I'm loving the Grendel. You can't run around with it in close quarters. I only use it on a couple maps, but I absolutely love the gun. I'll have to try out the single shot ability though, and see how that works.

Ok I'm giving it ONE more shot this weekend, w/ single shot. On the biggest maps. After that, I may done w/ that gun.

I think the problem with it is the bad connection/lag in the game. Once they fix it, I think the Grendel will be a decent weapon.

I hear ya man, I use it occasionally on some maps but overall I''m better with the scar. I use it on terminal and the capital building maps. the burst fire it way to slow between bursts. Needs a little higher rate of fire between them. I use it for crash site as a support weapon like someone else, if someone has a light mg and is fireing on a position then I can shoot with the grendal fro the side and manage to get someone. But it depends on the game mode and range, but the rate of fire between bursts is to slow IMO, that's my only complaint :).
