1. issue an immediate recall (at least for the pc version since the console version seems to be mostly working)
2. issue a blanket RA for anyone that wishes to get their money back.
note: It is possible to return software (games) that is defective. The federal trade commission is very clear on the matter. You might have to do a little research and take a copy of the appropriate area of the FTC's comments on this. And gently threaten to complain to the FTC. Don't rant and rave..be firm and explain the defect. (in my case being unable to access multiplayer at all...which is a defect since the game is advertised as a multiplayer title)
