An honest effort? The NCR is debased and corrupt, only out to svck the Mojave dry of its resources. You know what the Legion achieved the NCR never did? Order and civilization.

Obviously the NCR is much better. Those who trade freedom (NCR) for protection (Legion) deserve neither. Plus the legion outfits look [censored] stupid. they're pretty much wearing dresses.
And sixism is ALWAYS counter-productive. Not to mention slavery isn't really a good thing. If you think the Legion is the "greater good" you must be stupid.
But siding with them can be fun though, especially if your playing as an evil character.

Slavery isn't a good thing? The Legion and the Roman empire would disagree. And I do believe the Legion is the greater good compared to the NCR.
