A GTX 280 can max Crysis out at 1920X1080 res with 25fps. Warhead was a little better. Crysis 2 should easily be playable(above 30fps) at max with a Radeon 4870 or GTX 260.
Crysis 2 isn't going to be as GPU demanding as the first one was, since consoles don't have anywhere near the specs that a decent PC has.
I have the Crysis minimum requirements right in front of me now.
Processor:
Pentium 4 2.8ghz or faster
AMD Athlon 2800 or faster
GPU:
Nvidia 7100 series and up
ATI X1300 and up

I could see this as being about the same as Crysis 2.

lets just hope it isn't a massive hardware hog that requires 2 gtx 480's! lol

these are the minimum specs for crysis 1. how can you go any lower than these? crysis 2 running on a 5500FX or a 9600SE is hard to imagine.

as long as my phenom II and overclocked 4890 and dedicated 8800GT can max out crysis 2 im happy

Something tells me the requirements are going to be about the same, if not slightly higher/lower. (I'm leaning towards slightly lower, because I'm still on the "Crysis 2 slightly downgraded for consoles" bandwagon).


Should run the same as Crysis 1, IMO.

Just remember.. "NVIDIA" The way it's meant to be played. PHYSX ftw. Ati doesn't sorry can't help it.
