Of course if there is a high user demand for custom avatars then we'll address it right now (after all this is a site for you guys!)

Official poll on this perhaps? Would help get the community's opinion.

Problem with this is it's a free thing, at least for members. If we open a poll asking do you want this free option yes/no then of course everyone will vote yes because there's nothing to lose everything to gain.

I'm sure if people want to have custom avatars they'll make this known in the feedback/support forum so we'll monitor this closely and as i mentioned, if there's a clear demand for it then we'll definitely give it some serious thought!

Is there any chance for a 3D-Type Gallery of Avatars in the near future. Here's a pic that I was hoping to be an avatar someday.

I would really like some custom avatars and signatures like on the old website, it increases creativity and really adds some fresh designs to the website when you browse and see all the talented designs people come up with. Right now we can edit our signatures but it is disabled from showing up after our posts atm.

Only problem I see with custom avatars and such is some inappropriate designs.

btw can we get the full res images of the avatar, maybe put it in the gallery?
cause there are some great images that i would really like to try and make some wallpapers

I like that there are not custom avatars. People always pick these really oddly shaped ones and it messes up the forums. Most other forums allow custom avatars and they annoy me because of the formatting issues.

They should really just add some new Avatar Galleries. that's all.
