I recently purchased Crysis WARHEAD on Amazon for digital download, I downloaded and installed the game, applied the 1.1 Patch, but can find no exe that launches the Crysis WARS multi-player part of the game, I only have exe's named "Crysis.exe" and "Crysis64.exe"...

Amazon's ad copy clearly states: "Includes Crysis Wars?, an expanded new multiplayer experience with new online modes and 21 maps .including seven all-new maps to battle it out against other players." and I've gone through their support channel, but have no reply as to what's up.

Is there anyone else here that has ordered the game through Amazon, or has dealt with a similar configuration of the game that does not appear to include the Crysis Wars? multi-player portion of the game (which is what I really bought this for)?

There's possibly a separate installer. Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars are two completely individual and separate programs. You need to install each program separately. With that being said, there may also be an alternate installer file you need to download from Amazon.

Thanks Shinanigans, no there's no separate installer; I even borrowed a friends Crysis WARHEAD DVD, see what you mean, and while my Amazon key works for the separate WARS installer as well as WARHEAD, it does not work as a multi-player key -- so Amazon has made some sort of mistake, and/or is only offering half the game deliberately... Either way I can't feature Crytek would want the game marketed and sold this way...

What a bummer...

If you download and install the Crysis Wars trial and put in the CD-Key that came with Crysis Warhead, you should be able to get online functionality working.

Thanks Talon95, I'll give that a go -- though I don't see how it will be much different then using my friend's DVD where the game would install and let me use my Amazon key to finish the installation, but when it came time to play it asked for another key (same number of digits) but the Amazon key wouldn't work there... Hopefully Amazon sorts this out, in the mean time might as well try everything in the mean time...

Talon95 is correct.....I downloaded Crysis Warhead from Amazon 2 days ago and Crysis Wars was not included. I grabbed the trial from http://www.bigdownload.com/games/crysis-wars/pc/crysis-wars-trial-single-file/ and used the key from Crysis Warhead. Good to go.
