3rd person view with scoped weapons?

Post » Mon Mar 09, 2009 2:09 pm

Hello,

How can I view (take screenshots etc.) my character aiming with a scoped weapon with 3rd person camera? Is there a way to avoid the scope hud and see the character from 3rd person camera?
Thank you.

Open the console, and type in TFC (or maybe TCF......) Toggle Free Camera. See if that will work.

that obviously doesn't work on PS3 and Xbox360 HeyYou :)

I don't think there is a way, but you could get a vats kill and time your screentaking picture on a point where you get the desired angle for the weapon :)

The TFC command works but... now the 3rd person camera has a crosshair ...

The iron sight can be toggled off, not the scope crosshair, as far as I know.

oddly im more accurate with the non-'true' iron sights <_< i like true, but untrue is just so much more accurate for me.

back fully on topic, what console are you on? you can also time it right where you aim, fire, and as soon as you fire in iron-sights/crosshairs, zoom out, and while you character is cocking the gun, he will still be aiming until he finished the motion.

Try using TM to toggle menus, IIRC, this also removed the crosshairs.
