Thinking of making a fallout NV movie.

Post » Wed Mar 11, 2009 6:45 pm

just need some actors who can forget their lines and walk into walls. Also need to find an sfx person who knows how to make someone look like they are walking in mid air. and/or walk around with their feet under the ground. I'll only need to pay some actors for half the work cos i'll only need them for a little while then they can just dissapear with no explantion. That should make it easy to write the script also. Background characters only need one line that they can share for every scene.
Also it should be easy to pad the film out, turn 30 minutes into an hour and a half by just freezing certain scenes for 5-10 minutes, with some where you need to turn off your tv and dvd player and then turn it back on. I'll make some scenes so good that the viewer won't mind sitting through it 3-4 times before they can progress to the next scene.
Do you think there would be a market for this movie?

Any other ideas would be great.

Oh yeah, i'm only going to make 3/4 of the movie initially, release it at full price and then if people say it's badly made i'll tell them to try watching it again from an earlier point in the movie. If they still don't like it then i'll wait a year and release another version that i think is better but still quite not finished.

Couldn't you just say Fallout New Vegas svcks? Though I find what you posted pointless it was creative. :foodndrink:

It seems posting any kind of complaint on this forum is "pointless" as it falls on deaf ears or just gets locked.
Plus: I don't think New Vegas svcks. I love it as i loved Fallout 3. But i'm 70 hours into New Vegas and the build quality of the game is a [censored] joke. It has crashed on me about 20 times so far.

Plus Also: I was making a point that it seems only to be the game industry and gamers who will put up with this. I'm asking. Would you go see a movie at the theatre only to have to leave halfway through because the movie hadn't been finished. And not expect a refund because the theatre tells you that the producers are still working on the ending, they just wanted to see how people liked the film so far?! Only you had no idea this was the case, you went to the theatre fully expecting to see a complete movie. Or more simply put, would you buy a bicycle that ony had one wheel?

There is no market for a thing like this that I have to pay for...I don't know if you did this as a joke, but I don't find it funny.

Now if you made a video with characters acting to scenes of the trailer from Pulp fiction with the original Audio....

Just because YOU are having bugs doesn't mean the game is buggy.
Just because I have no bugs doesn't mean the game is not buggy.
Truth is, there are threads and people to talk to for help and advice, maybe even a trick to improve your game performance, but insulting the quality of a good game is no way to achieve or gain anything besides resentment.

The problem is not that complaints are posted, this is allowed and many comment on how bad they are and how much they wished the game was different.
The problem is how those complaints are made, it leads to spam, rants, flames.. etc, all those are against the forum rules.

Basically this. And although I'd love to sign up for your movie (as I keep forgetting lines, can float in mid-air, disappear without a trace or launch myself into orbit at will), I think it best to close this thread before me and my fellow moderators have to spend the night handing out suspensions. ;)
