Boycott EA for publishing games too early

Post » Sat Mar 14, 2009 9:24 am

It would be interesting to know the budget for crysis 2

Because seriously, the game needed another 3 months

EA you seriously **** this up for the Crytek team

they are being accused of liars for the AI

and idiots for the glitches

and you aren't gonna take the blame for this

well **** you, i'm never buying EA again

You need to learn some respect kid! Can't you get your point across without swearing?

All games now released have issues on MP, if it is a problem take it up with your local trading standards in Australia and get a petition going that consumers should get a full refund if a game is not fit for purpose.

That way instead of selling the game and passing the problem onto someone else and not having any effect on EA revenue from sales you can actually make a difference.

As for never buying another EA game again, well who are you trying to kid. **roll eyes**

Every game has problems, but the main problem here is that patches for the 360 especially from EA games are coming way too late or never. I know Microsoft has to validate the patch, but it's really EA which is holding back patches in some cases.

The game has only been out for a day. Which FPS to date has been perfect at release? They have all had their problems. As long as the known major issues are logged and Crytek read the issue thread, we can hope that they are making progress on re-creating the issues, finding a fix and then release a patch to MS for validation.

But to yell Boycott is just being Silly.

This kid is just a forum troll and a little bich. Eery game has issues in the beginning. Just wait for a patch. Or sell your game

Im sorry what? So far I cannot pick out one flaw with this game except for the AI which seems to go from master tracker hunting you down to bumping into walls and his team mates and the odd glitch of enemys stanking still with their arms up in the air.

Multiplayer works flawless for me and I can actually connect to a game with my friends who all have awesome connections and who frequently pull host so the game is not laggy at all with everyone in green bar. The level of graphical fidelity is amazing online and its extremely well optimised for running on a 6 year old console with awesome graphics.

I can only pick out one or 2 minor things I dislike about the multiplayer which are how the game stops you dead when you get shot while in mid run, how the scar barely recoils in full auto ADS.

I Had Far Cry 2 on release and while there where some bugs in the Story mode and with the Single player Vehicals there was nothing like the issues i'm getting with Crysis 2, Especially in Multiplayer... Far Cry 2 Multiplayer was EXCEPTIONAL... and it felt polished straight out of the box..... Delaying the release would have atleast given Richard Morgan's writing and the Crytek Teams hard work some credit....

And what is the Biggest Change here? IMO it is almost certainly swapping from Ubisoft as Developers to EA...

I can't even get a Multiplayer game to last longer than 2 minutes because of the MIGRATING SESSION ****. Seriously, if i wanted to play an Online team-based shooter by myself, I'd go back to the COD franchise. Atleast then me and 12+ other people could continue ignoring the basics of team-work in the same game, at the same time.... getting shifted into my own game with the same scores and time in the previously full game is beyond a joke, I have never had this issue with any of the other shooters I have owned and played on Xbox360 (Transformers:WFC, AVP, TeamFortress, The Darkness, Left4Dead1+2........)

And the AI quite frequently walking into wall in single player makes me laugh until another across the map starts shooting me through a wall....

Whiny bich boy troll OP not withstanding, way to go Crytek. Nice job at being just like every other hacktastic co. to release a shooter in the past 5 years. I am sick and effing tired of "but mp never works right at release" being a justification for a beta to cost 60 bucks. If its not ready and working YOU SHOULD NOT RELEASE IT. Period. End of story. "The patch is coming" is ****. Not to mention VERY poor customer service.

I will not pay my hard earned money to be a beta tester.

I have a Virgin Media 20mb cable connection... so why the heck do I only have 2 bars in Crysis 2? My net connection is OK...

Saw some weird and wonderful stuff like guys freezing mid air and then they kill me from behind heh. I love the single player and have just finished it on Super Soldier but the multiplayer seems a bit weird for me.

MW2 on First Day.

Akimbo Models.

The Javelin Glitch.

Rock glitches.

The game was unplayable on release day.

Over time games get fixed up and improved.
