New Vegas awe inspiring moments

First conversations with all the big personalities in the MQ:
Spoiler
House, Yes Man, Caesar, Vulpes Inculta. So well set-up, and then mind blowing what you learn about the world. You don't get to talk with Kimball, but his speech scene is so great on so many levels it's awesome too.

Every single one of the companions' (the human/former human ones, anyway) stories. They all touched my heart and some had so much loss in them they made me cry.

For me, there's no question that seeing New Vegas at night from what was believed to be your final resting place was the most inspiring moment, as many others have already mentioned. :fallout:

Two moments.

Spoiler

First was siding with the powder gangers at the beginning and only in the midst of the fight realizing the Doc was involved, then killing the man who saved me brutally.

Second, after destroying his army, discovering my reason for killing house was wrong-he was not a skynet wanna be mainframe. Then finding out he would have done good, just before frying him.

Nothing can quite compare to an experience in Fallout 3, where I VATS kicked a Super Mutant in the ass whilst he bent over to pick up a rifle and his head exploded and his arms rocketed into the sky.

In New Vegas... my most fightening moment, also my most awesome (filled with awe) moment, was dropping down off of a ledge, spinning around and seeing at the neck of the chamber, the back of the Lakelurk King, he turned and roared, I snapped out of the awe and my Power Fist hissed into life. It was a fight of legend.
