Decorating houses

Is there anyone else who thinks it's fun to manually arrange objects around in your (Fallout) house? Basically adding a personal touch that serves no purpose whatsoever. In FO3 I liked doing that with my Megaton house, instead of buying the themes. I guess it's more of a RP thing, or maybe it's because I'm female haha. /self-sixism

Yeah, I like to lay out all the unique guns I don't use, so I can look at them whenever I come home to sleep or drop off some inventory. :P

I've been doing this since Morrowind. I remember I had a character that lived in the sewers of Vivec, and had all of his personal belongings in storage rooms. In fact, I accidentally stumbled into the assassin guild while decorating my "house." I don't spend near that much time decorating in New Vegas, but I do keep a small collection of unique or interesting items. I recently added Maria and Benny's suit to the shelves in the BoS bunker, along with a Centurion helmet sitting on top of the closet. Although, I did spend a while tidying up the Novac motel room, throwing all the empty whiskey bottles and such in the trash can. I think it's just an RP thing. For me, it adds another level of immersion.

I do a bit of decorating to the Novac room. Atomic Cocktails dotted around for lighting, unique items here and there and a display of trophy headgear.

I use the Harpers Shack just for the very same purpose. It has a reloading table, crafting table, and campfire for all your crafting needs. It also has plenty of storage and shelf space to customize it with all the guns, gear, or whatever you want. I use the flamers as tiki torches in the corners of the shack to add lighting cause it is abit dark. The atomic cocktail idea by dwilderbeast is a good one that I plan to use. I play on the PS3 (sigh) so I will take a pic and download it later.

I do it a little bit, but in-game I find it hard to position things the way I want. I know you can, it's just time-consuming and sometimes frustrating. But yeah, I do a little decorating now and then. :)

I do sometimes, build a fort of money..
Lay out limbs of deathclaws, scorpions and hides.
Leave clothes all around.
If I play a raider I look to make some brutal vibes going on.
If a chem user, lay syringes, pipes, bonesaws.. etc around with piles of bottles, cleaner, detergent and turpentine.

Lady Crimson, Oblivion had some fantastic mods to arrange items for you, if NV has not already got a few it will at some point.
