My reputation with both NCR and Caesar's Legion were just reset to neutral after killing everyone in cottonwood cove. Before I was vilified by Caesar's Legion and liked/accepted by NCR.

Not only that but now NCR attempts to kill me whenever I enter any territory by them and certain people will kill me even if in NCR costume (Rose Cassidy will shoot at me no matter what)

How has this happened and how can I resolve it?


EDIT: I have had reputations reset before (and sometimes return back to normal) yet they never wanted to kill me...

I killed someone on the NCR in this game and it set the reputations back to normal but everyone still wants to kill me. Why is this happening?

Are you wearing any faction armor at all?

Not any more. I had recently acquired ones for Caesar's Legion, Powder Gangers, Great Khans and NCR.

Who did you kill that was in the NCR?

I didn't kill anyone.

I noticed the error when walking through the Mojave Outpost dressed as NCR and walked into the bar and Rose kept shooting me

So I went to an earlier save (no one from NCR killed) and they now kill me no matter how I dress.

I killed someone later when running around with problem (a ranger) and the reputations reset but everyone still wishes me dead despite me now being liked by NCR

I just went switching through faction armour and it now stops some of the people attacking but not all (seems to be some of the named NPC's such as Cassidy and woman at HELIOS ONE)
