you say why stretch but if the tv is 1080p native then it gets stretched out anyway does the game.if you set the xbox to 1080p then the xbox upscaler does the upscaling and if you set the xbox to 720p then the tv does the upscaling which can cause lag and 99.9 percent of the time the xbox is the better upscaler so the fact of the matter is set the xbox to what ever your native tv screen is

broken you are clueless people like you clutter these forums making it confusing. when you clearly know nothing just because you set the tv to 1080p doesnt mean you are getting that. the game resolution is sub hd so you are not getting 1080p anyway. your 1080p tv will only output at the res what is inputted .setting the xbox to 1080p will not give you 1080p because the game is not 1080p or 720p for the matter, so therefore whatever the game is rendered at is what will be displayed and then either your tv or xbox will upscale accordingly giving no extra detail just a picture what is watchable if it didnt up scale the pic wouldnt fill the screen.i hope this clears it up in a basic a way as i can say.As there is plenty of noobs ie brokencliff or whatever he is called who blatently have no clue what they speak about.

Before anyone trolls or flames me i speak from experience of been an LG Tv Tech Serviceman.
thanks

So why's it say "HDTV720/1080i/1080p" on the case?

Crysis 2 on xbox is rendered at 1152 x 720 native and then upscaled to 1280 x 720, all you are doing by
running the xbox at 1080p is stretching the image plus dropping a few frames on the way!

I now run the game in 720p rather than 1080p and it seems to run smoother.
