Why is there no cover system in multiplayer?!??!

The cover system in the single player is awesome, it's so intuitive if used carefully, so where's it gone in Online modes? Pls patch it Crytek, the multiplayer just feels a bit old without it...

because cover systems are easily abused in multiplayer.

That as well as will promote camping = one ****/boring slow game.

Why does the nano suit Armour mode not work like the single player? One shot kills?

I think it would make people more careful having the cover system, its very run n gun at the moment, i think it would make it more tactical, it would be similar to sniping, being vunerable from the sides...might be wrong but the single player feels so good to play its a shame it didn't make it in there

I read in an article a few days ago (can't remember where) that Crytek was having problems with the cover system when applying it to the MP portion.

Not to mention since some people seem to be having problems with the connection, those people would be having other problems with getting shot and killed while behind cover.

Cover system is for biches. End of story. Stop camping and start running and gunning :)

I have to agree with majority. The cover is excellent in single player but that is only A.I that you must deal with. multiplayer is/should be must faster pace to keep it enjoyable. plus you could turn on cloak for a second any way to give half a second on your foe/s around the corner.

Because your running n' gunning is the only way to play right? And what makes your way to play the absolute right way?

I tend to run n' gun most of the time as well, but you just seem like an arrogant jerk.

Because it's pointless in MP and maybe there is simply no 3rd person animation made for that.

I am arrogant because I'm the guy who you call a tryhard when I'm not even trying and I make your k/d go down. Sorry I hate campers who want to peak around a corner. What next. We will have the gun that shoots around corners? Pathetic :)

Hell's yeah. This game's got a badass movement system thats fun to use on its own. Snipers and camping ruined Homefront MP for me. I got sniped today and when I respawned I stealthed all around him and stabbed him in his ass a few times for it. My favorite kill I've had so far.
