Crysis 2 has stopped working????????

ASUS Crosshair Formula IV
AMD Phenom xII 1090t six core OC at 3.7
Gskill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 8GB
2x Sapphire 6870

All gaming done at 1920x1080 (FYI)

Can run Crysis 1 Extreme quality mod with TOD installed and get 60-70 FPS,....

But with Crysis 2 if I play SP or MP, anywhere from 5-15 minutes in, game crashes, with not other information than Windows stating it stopped working?

Crytek, I'm REALLY, REALLY trying to enjoy Crysis 2 for what it is, (considering 2 months ago I dropped $1300 on a new Windows 7 pc FOR YOUR GAME) . Sad that my wifes $500 budget pc from 2 years ago, could max your game, "you should feel ashamed!"

Anyhow, can someone from the community pose any suggestions? Crossfire is disabled, and I have uninstalled all Catalyst drivers, rebooted, ran driver sweeper to remove all ATI software, reinstalled Catalyst 11.2, and the CAP4 Profiles that were supposed to enable crossfire.

I'm cool with running the game with just one card, and the game is stunning for a console port, and IS fun to play,... but even trying to enjoy the game as it is, I feel like I'm just getting smacked around. The Jan. leaked build of the game actually played more stable IMO! I gave Crytek $60 for a lesser quality game then the one that leaked for free??????

I understand Crytek "probably" is working their asses of to fix these issues,... and it may have been pressure from E.A. to hit the street date, but they released a disaster of a game, and I have to wonder, even if all issues are fixed within a few weeks, how much damage has been done to their PC fan base? Don't be surprised if Crysis 3 goes console exclusive!
