Aaaaaargh, I've defeated the Warship, but the VTOL just won't come on over to get me - it continues to hover out over the water, up in the air, where it was during the battle. How can I trigger it to move in for the pickup? (And yes, I know I will have to jump, but that nanosuit won't let me make what must be a 150 ft jump or so.)

You have to defeat the aliens that the warship let out, otherwise just reset the mission on devmode.-

I did defeat all the aliens, and I also have the objective chamged to "Get on the VTOL ...". Looking at a plathrough on youtube, I think the problem might be that I managed to kill the Warship without going through the hoopla of firing into it's underside. So, I will probably have tp load an earlier save and go through the whole thing again, unless somebody can explain how I reset a mission in devmode. This is something I could not find out by googling.

I did get this bug once.. or something during the last boss fight..

try not to quick save at this point, do a manual save, but do not quick save.. but i guess at this point you have to reload this level..

The TAC Cannon was what I used to defeat the boss - I'm not sure what your point is.

OK, just in case anybody else ever needs to look this up: If you somehow kill the Warship in Crysis 1 without going through the proper sequence of blowing the underside hatch open and then firing through the opening with the TAC Cannon - the VTOL will never come down close to the ship for the pickup. I confirmed this just tonight.
