Looking for some advice on my setup (Possible Problem)

Ok where to begin. My PC is not going to be up to most of your standards atleast until tax time so be nice LOL

Im having a problem with Crysis & Warhead running in DX10 settings. When I try to run DX10 @ fullscreen 1920x1080 my Monitor say's "Out of Range" but I can run the game in DX10 1920x1080 in "Window Mode" no Problem.

Now here is my other Issue, I can run any other game but Crysis in DX10 with no problems at all. So im Stumped on what to do. I cant replace my video card until tax time. Right now im playing all Enthusiast settings in DX9 it looks good but I want DX10. I wish I had the money to get a new card to test but im just lost my job 2 weeks ago.

PC specs:

NZXT Beta EVO
Athlon II X3 445 3.6GHz
BIOSTAR TA785G3HD
SeaSonic S12II 520
G.SKILL NS 8GB
XFX 4890 1GB (Drivers 10.10e)
LITE-ON 24X iHAS-324-98
x2 WD WD5000AAKS Raid
Corsair A70
Asus MS236H (1920x1080) (DVI to HDMI)
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.

Crysis & Warhead I bought through EA so I download them VIA the EA Downloader.

Looks like you have a big bottleneck from a weak processor. :D You graphics card is actually pretty good since it is a dual GPU, it's only downside is no DX11, which is irrelevant in this case.

Have you updated your video card drivers and patched Crysis (1.21), Crysis Warhead (1.1), Crysis Wars (1.5) to the latest version? This issue seems rather odd to me.

my 4890 is not a Dual GPU so I think your mistaken. I only have crysis warhead installed at the moment & I have it patched Should I try installing Crysis wars? would that make a difference?

I have tryed running Drivers from 10.10e to 10.12s no luck. Should I try earlier versions from 10.5 to 10.9?

Oh, I thought it was dual gpu. :D

No, I do not think that installing Crysis Wars will help, as the 1.1 --> 1.5 patches are exclusive to the multiplayer.

I do not understand what is causing your motherboard to freak out like that.. Maybe someone else has a suggestion.
