So is the Beam Splitter Mod working properly yet?

For the Laser Rifle

I recall it splitting the beam into x3 and not providing the damage boost. While it was supposed to split the beam into x2 and do a 30% dmg increase.

Anyone know if any of the patches fixed this issue yet? Cause on paper the Laser Rifle is probably my favourite weapon for it's accuracy, large ammo capacity, and not having to holster it to move at top runnning speed.

The beam splitter bug has not been addressed. It still is wholly detrimental to attach the mod to your laser since it makes armor more effective against it.

Neither has the lack of weight loss for weight-decreasing weapon mods. It lists the decreased weight in the weapon stats, but the actual weight is unchanged. Drop and pick up such a modded weapon to see.

Nor has the repair kit bug for weapons that have a condition-increasing mod. It's as if the script command involved with it is using the original weapon health value (not health percentage).

Also... the laser rifle is a 2-hand weapon, so your running speed is decreased. Only 1-hand weapons leave your running speed unaffected.

Actually I found that I ran faster with a Laser Rifle than with the other rifles I tried. Not sure if it still works, but it worked for me on PC.
