Fix proximity alert and improve the framerate

Post » Sun May 10, 2009 6:27 pm

Proximity Alert was one of my favorite modules in the 360 demo. I find is extremely frustrating that it DOESN'T WORK. AT ALL....here in the retail PS3 version.

And the framerate gets pretty low at times, I'd be happy if there was an option to lower some of the graphic settings for a boost in FPS. At the very least, this game should run at a solid 30fps and it's nowhere near that.

Anyway, still having fun with it. But these two things are keeping me from fully enjoying it on my PS3.

I just thought about the full scope of it and my SOUND doesn't alert me, I just see the light get red then start blinking. I forgot it was suppose to give a AUDIO alert as well. So, mine is broken too.

At what range does the Range Alert show on Proximity Alert? I see it sometimes but not all the time. I rely more on the red lights to flash but knowing how far the enemy is would be useful as well, if thats how it's supposed to work. Also, does it give a general direction? or do the lights just flash when an enemy is near?
