Here's the thing, Crysis added innovation to the gaming community it pushed technolog forward. Thats one of the benifits of a true PC game, a very noteorthy line for alot of hardware reviews that came after the game launched was, "yeah but can it run crysis". There are flaws also to having a game beyond its time is it may have a smaller player base because people simply can't play it smoothly because they simply can't meet the requirements, this doesn't mean the game or the gameplay was bad. Crysis 2 was built up to be the "next big thing". Did it meet that goal, I dont' think so personally. Yes the story is great which is always nice but the gameplay both SP and MP is simply not to par with the original, the main reason for this is the game had to be dumbed down to meet console requirements. Does this mean this makes it a bad game that no one should play, no. It just doesn't meet the expectations that were set such as an advancement of the original title with smoother gameplay for a greater number of users.
