Well, whether they can penetrate the wall depends on the material and thickness, of course. But if they can "see" you through the wall, that's not right. So many A.I. in many games can do this now, and the companies always deny it. DCS Black Shark is one such company. I can "spawn" my heli behind a 60 foot hill, completely blocked from their view, and wham! Here the enemy comes gunning for me, knowing exactly where I am. It svcks.
I got one, I was playing SP and 1 of the tank guys saw me from 90 ft away through a wall and started shooting. Or the countless other times when there's no indication I'm there, and yet the AI starts shooting at me, even if there's a solid surface between me and them.
Wasn't the AI supposed to be "The most sophisticated ever"? Pff, hardly.
