Marking with binocs

I once played a game where i think someone was trying to level their "tag someone and have the get killed by a teammate" assessment. It was the sickest thing ever seeing the location of nearly every enemy...like having maphack on.

I know its not realistic to have one teammate dedicated to just tagging people but otherwise i rarely see anyone ever use it. Have yall found a good mix of tagging / fighting?

I use smg so my thoughts are that if an opponent is long range i'll try to tag them....but by the time i get my stuff out and zoom in he has either moved from sight or i get flanked.

To me it doesn't make sense to tag someone that you could possibly engage and kill.

what balance and tactics have yall been using with tagging enemies?

i think tagging would be great, if only your teammates were smart enough to look at radar more often(since knowing where your enemy is equal to win in this game).
Sometimes i like to tag enemies on Lighthouse map with sniper rifle, once i tagged them, if i see i can kill someone, i'm going for it, because you can kill them even through obstacles

are we talking about good old visor tagging, or visor enhance tagging? for the latter, its seems any kind of ads will tag everything you can see when zoomed in, which is how i've marked 3 spread out people with a pistol. easy marks

With the Suite Module Visor Enhance you can see people with the nano suite visor in a red outline so when they are cloaked you can easily tag them fools. I personally will use my visor and scope out open areas and sometimes even just let my teammates do the work while I tag. I'm hardly selfish in that area and prefer to help the whole team. Great with clan mates for sure and surely appreciated if someone else does so for me. Watching my teammates kill the big red triangle above cloaked guy you just tagged from long range....Priceless.

Especially after a "hacker" bursting out of the victim >:-)

Visor Tagging is highly underused and it's useful to give priceless assistance to your team when you know you can't put in serious trouble a target all by yourself or that you don't want to give away your position.

To me visor tagging is the most OP sniper not shooting kinda way to play :3

If you see me in a game, better have Blind Spot lvl 2 on... :D There's so many Stealth Enhance addicts running around these days ^^

Yeah. Tagging, all day erry day. And it earns points. Not enough IMHO, should be at least 25/50.

When I was leveling up AirStomp I did a lot of hanging around waiting for good stomping opportunities so I would scope out the map and tag anyone I could find. I also do it on Crash Site games. I tag anyone I see coming in - wait for them to get close before taking them out. That's if a squaddie doesn't get to them 1st.

Yeah tagging is so useful in many ways, whether to land nasty grenades, L-Tag shots, stomps, JaW preshots etc.
I really think they should show in killcams if they are tagged or not, though.

Agreed. It would be nice to not yell hacker or the stealth is broken or something along those lines XD

I use it quite a bit, especially on Pier 17, as you know where to expect people.
