Kinda, there weren't as many armors as in NV. So pretty much yes, weren't any faction armors either though...or factions for that matter haha.

I want a freaking trenchcoat.

One that isn't faction related.

I think they were either for recycling or a toss to modders (ex: FO3 enclave armor in the geck, not in the game though)

I miss the raider iconoclast armour. I didn't like Autumn's trenchcoat because no helmets went with it.

Though I understand lore wise why one isnt present, I miss that coat. I wish we could have found Pre-War military uniforms in the game. Thats why I miss the Chinese Commando outfits.

What i miss from FO3 is all the power-armors you could get. And its barely power armors in FO NV, cant even repair my t45b armor without faction commitment with the t51b thats commited to BoS... goddamnit
And i have a similar uniform to colonel autumn`s, its the basic uniform the enclave have.

The Jury Rigging perk allows you to repair your T45d with simple Metal Armor, don't see your problem.

Unless you only focus on repair it's hard too get too that perk early in the game though, unless you use (scary music) console commands!!

Just to say Power Armor was supposed to be rare, in the first two games there were only 5 locations you could get it from, and they were pretty hard.

You're not going to be wearing power armor early on in the game though.

I hate the fact that they just recycled about half the armor from FO3.

The faction armor is cool, but only if you plan on siding with that faction. If you want to help the NCR, but also like recruit armor, good luck.

Pretty sure you can find some in NV. I believe I've seen them somewhere.

Oddly, for a game set in the Mojave, the green and black varieties of Combat Armour made it over, but not the sand coloured variety that Tenpenny's goons had.

They have the same mercenary armors, the same raider armors, the same pre-war clothes, the same hats, and mostly the same eyewear. I appreciate the faction armors but they only make sense if your're helping that faction. Power armor is cooler but thats all end-game. I usually don't call developers lazy, but this is ridiculous.

I liked the Talon company Combat armor. Looks BA!

And for armor in NV idk, none of it really looks good. And the armor that does look good is associated with a faction which is annoying. And Power Armor looks mis sized with your character.

This. Fallout 1 only had two sets. Fallout 2 had 4 guaranteed sets, some stores stocked T-51bs but they are absurdly expensive. Fallout 3 was like wth? Why not just let everyone run around in it, it's so common.

Oddly, for a game set in the Mojave, the green and black varieties of Combat Armour made it over, but not the sand coloured variety that Tenpenny's goons had.

Combat Armor is made out of high-tech advanced polymers, and was therefore a pain to make. The fact that it was so common in F3 again boggles me.

Fun Fact: Reinforced Combat Armor Mk I and Mk II are Fallout 1 and 2's Combat Armor.
