I don't think it's fake because Unlimited Detail program or something else,is coming out commercially next year.

The problem with unlimited Detail would be moving objects i think. All that is shown is static invorement.

Anyone else think that this video was made with the aid of 4 watercooled Nvidia Tesla Gpu's?

Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tS71lqZx6c&feature=related holy ****.

Those videos are fake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMygkWmsf2g

FYI; You can't game on Tesla cards to begin with, they don't even have monitor output ports. They're number crunching cards, not gaming cards.

They might do good work in polygon crunching.

Okay... unlimited detail is a very interesting technology.. but its still far away from being perfected and even more away from being used to create a videogame. And i dont understand whats the major difference between the voxel tech. And still i cant imagine how you could do things like move a charackter around. Its one thing to make a static and non moving enviroment with these "atoms" but what if they have to change their direction very quickly?
I highly doubt there is a solution for that problem.

@ Wonderful-Forest: Crysis 2 will definatly use the common polygon system and non other. Raytracing or voxel or unlimited detail techs are either way too hardware intense to use on todays hardware or (in case of UD) still not useable because the tech isn perfected yet.
