no, thank you ... a reason, i think i have a reason, something do with a rpg never can fit into a movie, a adventure can, even a typical fps can, but a rpg is to hard to make a movie out, ofcourse it can be easily done with a linear roleplaying game, but isn't that more a adventure with mulitiple options.
i'f that is not the issue, than the issue is that in many cases making a movie out of a game, in many cases isn't going to be good anyway ...
i'f beth is planning a fall out movie (will not suprise me due time), better hope they hire a director who has some brains
i must admit trough a pre-war hbo series wouldn't sound that bad i'f done good and correctly.
Going to try to respond to this even though I can barely make out what you're attempting to say...
First off, regardless of the type of game it is it can still be made into a great movie. There's no reason why an RPG like Fallout can't be seen as a potentially awesome film. Personally I would love to see something like this but of course, the post-apocalyptic movie spectrum has had a few epic ones that people will compare it to (Mad Max, A Boy and His Dog, Planet of the Apes, The Matrix Trilogy, etc).
I would also hope that they bring in a director with some brains and some skills. If they were to hire someone like Uwe Boll then we'd pretty much have to expect a HORRIBLE movie. I'm not sure who I'd nominate to be a director but there's plenty of good ones to choose from.
A pre-war series would be pretty interesting to see but only if it took place right before the war began. Perhaps in 2076. I'd love to see how the world was functioning right before the chaos...
