fallout movie

What would you do if they made a movie based on the fallout series?
And who would you like to see starring in it? :hubbahubba:

no, thank you ... a reason, i think i have a reason, something do with a rpg never can fit into a movie, a adventure can, even a typical fps can, but a rpg is to hard to make a movie out, ofcourse it can be easily done with a linear roleplaying game, but isn't that more a adventure with mulitiple options.

i'f that is not the issue, than the issue is that in many cases making a movie out of a game, in many cases isn't going to be good anyway ...

i'f beth is planning a fall out movie (will not suprise me due time), better hope they hire a director who has some brains

i must admit trough a pre-war hbo series wouldn't sound that bad i'f done good and correctly.

Going to try to respond to this even though I can barely make out what you're attempting to say...

First off, regardless of the type of game it is it can still be made into a great movie. There's no reason why an RPG like Fallout can't be seen as a potentially awesome film. Personally I would love to see something like this but of course, the post-apocalyptic movie spectrum has had a few epic ones that people will compare it to (Mad Max, A Boy and His Dog, Planet of the Apes, The Matrix Trilogy, etc).

I would also hope that they bring in a director with some brains and some skills. If they were to hire someone like Uwe Boll then we'd pretty much have to expect a HORRIBLE movie. I'm not sure who I'd nominate to be a director but there's plenty of good ones to choose from.

A pre-war series would be pretty interesting to see but only if it took place right before the war began. Perhaps in 2076. I'd love to see how the world was functioning right before the chaos...

I will give the forum the benefit of the doubt and stay even if the yes wins due to random kiddies coming in and clicking a result.

If the yes side stays and vigorously defends the idea that a Fallout movie would be a good idea, I might consider your statement. :P

I greatly enjoyed the Super Mario Brothers movie. Not sure if that was because I grew up with it or I actually like it but it makes me chuckle.

Ah its a Bob-Omb!

Anyways Silent Hill was alright I suppose. I actually felt like buying it so that counts for something.

If someone comes in here defending the Resident Evil movies I very well might begin to weep.

We are playing a kind of movie, we decide what happens. Why let some hollywood screw up a game like this. Like they did with Max Payne -_-.

Hm. Just a thought, but if they did it based on Fallout 3, the Vault Dweller being the main character, they could have him as a good character, but then a certain intervals, where he could do something bad, it'd be almost like a flashback...To the future. Dunno if it'd be anygood. :P

How about a Fallout TV Series following different characters and their decisions/ actions in the Wasteland, Then making a movie base on the "story" of the most popular character?

GEORGE LUCAS AS DIRECTOR!!!
and starring maybe Shia LeBeuff, Milla Jojovich, Paul WAlker??
