Patch 1.03

Post » Sun Jun 07, 2009 5:36 pm

Okay, what's this patch done? Anyone know? Google comes up trumps and so far the only thing that's changed is my game has frozen. Twice. In under an hour.

There I was, happy as a peach, two small bugs in all my playtime and now that's doubled in under an hour, annoying much?

There's a new patch? I'm always 'offline' so....hm.

Edit...unless you still meant 1.2.
These version number things confuse me. And in that case, 1.2 never came with a comprehensive changelog. It fixed a lot of quests and stuff like that tho.

Well according to the "From the teams at Obsidian and Bethesda" thread there is a new update coming.

Yeah but "upcoming" means it's not likely the one the op is referring to. :)

Patch 1.2.0.315 is most recent one of today (at least on pc), afaik - I always call it 1.2...the 1.03 confused me.

There have been only two official updates to the PC version of FONV: V. 1.1.1 and V. 1.2

Currently the PC version is V. 1.2 build 314. these are only available on Steam. If you have installed something obtained from another source, you are on your own.

I can not speak for the consoles and their patches.

@LadyCrimson: I think you made a typo and meant 314 not 315 :wink_smile:

I will say that the next patch should fix anything that the previous patch missed on and maybe a way to lower the amount of freezes.

As soon as Dead Money was released on 360, there was a patch.
The only things I notice are:
- Longer load times
- Constant, temporary, 2-10 second freezes
- Dead Money Achievements
- Forgot the rest.

Time to switch to offline mode then. I can't play without all the NVSE requiring mods.

LMAO  (sorry I've been playing Bethesda games for far too long for the above statement to have any real meaning).

I have it...it automatically donwloaded for me on PS3, I wasn't connected to PSN but I had the ethernet attached, it DL'd about a half hour before that first post.

It seems to have given me a risk of freezing in any game, old or new, which is nice. Other than that and the trophies for dead money, no change noticed.

Good riddance that I got used to taking off the ethernet cable since patch 1.02, even though I'm finally playing with that patch now. Think I'll happily pass on this one.
Won't get any of the DLCs until the release the GotY-version, so....

Really? Did Sony jump the gun this time? Gstaff hasn't yet announced that it is released.
