To Developers - Are you looking into the issues?

Post » Wed Jun 10, 2009 12:12 pm

To the Devs and Admins,

Are you looking into the issues in campaign and multi-player?

Some kind of statement via Twitter, Facebook or on the Forums will suffice so at least we can be confident that a patch is in the pipeline.

When I bought the game EA Support and feedback was also expected and so far we have heard nothing.

Cheers

No bro, they won't, you and I waste our money on this **** console game which seems to be amazing on PC because they cannot fix the basic errors on console. They only care about Battlefield 3 and nothing else, if you want to have fun on this game, buy an amazing PC and buy it for that. Best wishes, I enjoy getting terrible connection and killed by one melee hit with armor on.

Some sort of adjustments need to be made because the latency issues and host advantage in this game are horrible.

Why can't they give us dedicated servers for the console versions? It's not like the game didn't sell well enough for it.

Bad Lag compensation and regular Framerate issues.

This game has both of these and anyone of these can ruin even the bestest of games.

I know that it is impossible for a patch to come out so quickly, but at least when I played COD the developers at Treyarch (Vahn, Olin, Foxhound) would acknowledge the issues and problems the community raised and post it on Twitter and on the forums. They released a hot fix within 2 weeks with major issues.

I'm just left in the dark with Crytek.

I'm not a huge fan of their games, but Treyarch definitely did a good job of keeping in touch with their community after the release of Black Ops. Few game companies do this at all. They obviously had at least one person on their staff who had the full-time job of watching their forum.

Crytek probably can't afford that luxury unfortunately. They did make this announcement yesterday in the PC discussion area. I'd imagine their on top of issues on 360/PS3 as well.

The game has been out less than a week folks. Patches are coming.

Source?

Careful what you say, you might be misunderstood for someone elses figure and might get sued in this real world.

You people are insane if you think they're not looking into issues. The game has been out for a week...they need time to collect information, research and test fixes...not to mention the 2 week approval process that Microsoft needs before releasing any developer patches. It's worse for ps3 owners.

Patients people...patients!

At this point I'm enjoying Crysis 2 online and off immensely...very addicted to multiplayer. There are minor issues that need patching...but a very polished game indeed.

The biggest issues I have would be the film grain filter, which makes the image look washed out in many instances, as well as the issue with not being able to pick up a gun sometimes throughout the campaign. Amazing game and all, but damn do these issues take away from what should otherwise be a fantastic experience.

That is reassuring for PC players, lets hope there is a similar one for us console gamers too. :)
