I started playing new vegas again recently, started a new character and all, again i picked comfirmed bachalor perk at the begining forgeting it makes my character gay >_> and i noticed how theres WAY more options with that perk and that lesbein perk then hetrosixual choices.

Theres a openly gay companion, the brotherhood scribe is bisixual or lesbein and then cass who could be bi when she says somthing about not caring who she goes to bed with when shes drunk, only the sniper companion (i cant remember his name atm) is not gay, he had a wife, ladykiller perk is useless for the most part compared to the comfirmed bachalor perk.

I think obsidan focused to much on gay content and went way overbored. We dont need gay stuff in video games, even if there is we dont need perks and companions, cass right away says there will be nothing going on to a straight male charracter but implys she will sleep with a lesbeian female character if she got drunk, the only options for straights are wh***s and deadbeats.

Youd think they wouldnt be gay and would want to procreate at this time, with the world destroyed and all, the brotherhood of steel knows this but obsiden does not.

Well the fact that theres more gay options the straight is abit disturbing, im sick of having gay companions and the dialouge options to ask a guy that i think hes sixy to get free repairs.

I haven't played with a male character, so i wouldn't know about this. But as a man that plays with female characters i am saddened that this isn't a "problem" with Cherchez la Femme

There is the same amount of gay males as there are lisbian females. You must play as a male PC therefore not using the Cherchez la Femme perk. But there is an equal amount of both.

Veronica is not bisixual, she is a lisbian. And the Cherchez la Femme perk is the female version of the Confirmed Bachelor. Black Widow is the female version of Lady Killer. I think you're missing some perks.

Unless you are playing with six mods, there are NO romances at all in New Vegas--only the NPC's Benny, Red Lucy, the hokers, Sarah, Fisto and I think Beatrix will do you after you change her profession and thank God for Jimmy, he IS gay so don't talk to him or you'll catch the gay! Cass' ending does NOT imply she'd sleep with a lisbian female, on the contrary it does not mention six at all if you're a female PC, her endings are completely different than any of the other companions because they ARE based on gender.

Get a six mod or two and play it YOUR way. I think Obsidian did a great job of EQUALLY distributing sixual preferences around. It is fair and there are the same "gay" NPC's on each side, you just haven't found them all yet. And the Confirmed Bachelor perk does not make your character gay, it simply gives you different dialogue prompts with NPCs that are and vice versa with Cherchez la Femme. One of the funniest dialogues is with Corporal Betsy at McCarren if you’re a female.



The newest patch fixed that exploitation bug, Major Knight will only repair for you once. And again, there are the same amount of gay and lisbian dialouges, I have a feeling you just haven't found them all yet.

If you don't want your character to be able to have "gay" options in the dialogue then don't choose the confirmed bachelor perk and choose the ladykiller option instead. Besides give me one good reason why there shouldn't be gay options ingame? It's a role playing game and homosixuality shouldn't be excluded. I play the confirmed bachelor perk and actually I don't think it's that interresting at all! I could flirt with a few men ingame [wooptydoo!] other than that I thought it was kind of lame instead. However I do think it's a good thing they added this ingame and I dont see the point of saying there is too much gay content ingame...besides I don't see why homosixual dialogue options should be disturbing for someone who is not homosixual, which I assume by your posts. See it this way...homosixual people were put up with heterosixual dialogues in games for years...it's quite funny that for you this seems like a huge issue. Like big enough to start a new topic on this. But hopefully when you grow up one day you'll realize how ridiculous your post was and in a way almost offending to homosixuals. Though I respect whatever opinion you have about this but I just wish it would be different...but I just felt like expressing mine as well...

There aren't any romances in the game. If you think Cass is gay, then you're reading something into the game that isn't there. She isn't one of the gay characters. None of the characters runs around announcing their sixual preference to the world. If you go searching for the information, you'll find it eventually.

If you choose the perks, don't be surprised to get the dialogue.
