For as much as I enjoy this game, there's quite a few things that piss me off. (For those of you with sensitive eyes, there will be swearing, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum).

* Armor Mode Activated - Only to get 2-3 shot with a full energy bar. Then watching the kill replay immediately after to watch him spray wildly at my crotch... What the hell? I may not have been directing my bullets at his head, but I'm pretty sure upper chest beats dike shots.

* Matchmaking system - Why is it necessary to switch hosts EVERY GAME. If there's a half decent host already hosting, let him continue. I've seen people complain about host advantage, but hell, half the hosts I've witnessed rolling the game can be counted on 1 hand.

* Air Stomp - Maybe I don't quite get the concept but, son of a bich... What a useless module to use. This should be an ability everyone has, similar to slide, so that it doesn't take up a module upgrade. I've literally taken my time to aim the damn thing only to watch the person turn around and cap me in the face while I fist the ground...

* Hit Registration - A lot of this could be contributed to lag, but I'm willing to say that some of it is just complete **** (because I'm angry and have no need to be rational). I don't find this to be a huge problem, and no where near the issue it is in Black Ops, but nevertheless it's frustrating.

* Melee - While I like the idea of no insta-kill knifing... I'd at least like to know that my punches do damage. It's like I'm wearing a Hello Kitty nanosuit with inflatable air bags on the end of my fists...

* Kill replays display drastically different scenarios than I saw - I **** you not, I watched a kill cam earlier today where I was sniping from the second level on Pier 17 near the cafe (and not incredibly well I might add), then I get killed. Fine whatever, **** happens. So I watched the cam, and it shows me on the ground level getting lit up by my assassin. Really? An entire floor off on the kill replay? I've seen multiple videos where I was killed nearly 3-4 meters to the left or right of where I actually was. It's ridiculous.

* Spawning near enemy players - While I understand this system is probably the best I've played in so far, I'm only going to say that spawning in the map Impact is terrible. I get spawn killed at least twice every time I play that map.

* Gauss Attachment - What the hell does this thing really do? The load screen tips say it drains nanosuit energy... So does shooting at cloaked person, and I don't have to waste an attachment for that. The only situation I could see this truly being effective, is it your opponent had Armor up or even the maximum overclocked kill streak, but what are the chances I'll have time to switch the attachment, fire, and switch back for the kill? Maybe my aim just svcks.

Last thing I can really say, is that I feel it would have been better to spread out the weapon unlock levels more. Rather than having 2-3 different weapons unlock at 14, 21, 27, 39... Why not just unlock 1 every few levels.

I do not think the game is bad however. In fact, I think it plays better than most of the FPS games I have played to this point. There are many things about the game I like, but this list of things keep me from wanting to play because most of the game just feels too random. I suppose I'll just wait around for a patch and see what improves.

Probably latency. I generally don't see issues like that. Only my stupidity generally hinders me.

* Matchmaking system - Why is it necessary to switch hosts EVERY GAME. If there's a half decent host already hosting, let him continue. I've seen people complain about host advantage, but hell, half the hosts I've witnessed rolling the game can be counted on 1 hand.

When I play, I'm usually made the host and generally stay the host unless someone better comes along. Maybe better hosts come along as more people drop out. Saying you can count something on one hand isn't much to complain about though.

Solution: Play the KotH variant, equip Air Stomp, wait until group of enemies have it and are under you, jump up while equipping armor, use air stomp, ?????, Profit

* Hit Registration - A lot of this could be contributed to lag, but I'm willing to say that some of it is just complete **** (because I'm angry and have no need to be rational). I don't find this to be a huge problem, and no where near the issue it is in Black Ops, but nevertheless it's frustrating.

Yes, it is. But, like most games, it's generally lag.

* Melee - While I like the idea of no insta-kill knifing... I'd at least like to know that my punches do damage. It's like I'm wearing a Hello Kitty nanosuit with inflatable air bags on the end of my fists...

Not sure if it's available in multiplayer, but try the power fist. Hold the melee button.

Kill-cam is a bit finnicky.

* Spawning near enemy players - While I understand this system is probably the best I've played in so far, I'm only going to say that spawning in the map Impact is terrible. I get spawn killed at least twice every time I play that map.

Try not playing Instant Action

* Gauss Attachment - What the hell does this thing really do? The load screen tips say it drains nanosuit energy... So does shooting at cloaked person, and I don't have to waste an attachment for that. The only situation I could see this truly being effective, is it your opponent had Armor up or even the maximum overclocked kill streak, but what are the chances I'll have time to switch the attachment, fire, and switch back for the kill? Maybe my aim just svcks.

Pro-tip: Equip SCAR/ACOG/Gauss, get into a marksman position, and when enemies stop to shoot teammates you can teach them the meaning of "BOOM! Headshot!"

The Gauss is a cheeky thing for me too, but it works well in giving me something to replace a sniper class. The attachment allows me to have sniping power when necesary and standard stopping power as well. Some of the maps tick me off and prevent me from using it, but on some environments it's a wonderful antipersonal combo.

Last thing I can really say, is that I feel it would have been better to spread out the weapon unlock levels more. Rather than having 2-3 different weapons unlock at 14, 21, 27, 39... Why not just unlock 1 every few levels.

You still have to choose which weapons you're unlocking. There are a plethora of weapons unlocked of those levels but you only get a weapon unlock every few levels...so, it is spaced out. If you have left over unlocks (like me), remember you can get extra side-arms and different grenades (I'm saving the unlocks, personally).

I do not think the game is bad however. In fact, I think it plays better than most of the FPS games I have played to this point. There are many things about the game I like, but this list of things keep me from wanting to play because most of the game just feels too random. I suppose I'll just wait around for a patch and see what improves.

To each, his own.
