Post » Sun Jul 05, 2009 10:04 am

Will you be able to use the Xbox 360 gamepad for pc on Crysis 2?

Will you have to pay Xbox live for the pc version of Crysis 2?

Yes you will be able to use the X360 gamepad - It was supported in Crysis 1, and Crysis 2 is comming to the Xbox, there's no reason NOT to support it on the PC.

No, MP will be free. Xbox live on the Xbox works differently than on the PC.

Right. All online features for Crysis 2 should be accessible for free even with Windows Live. A Gold Membership costs around $50 a year. Alot of those extra features really don't apply to the PC though. I wouldn't worry about it.

You're completely wrong. They create the game with PC, and then port it to the consoles. Also, you're wrong in the modding scene too. I don't know about linux, but windows WILL get modding, if the game itself will support it. Also "Some features you can edit with adobe photoshop" you can just edit images with photoshop.

I went to E3 and saw the PC version in a demo at the EA booth, the Crytek employee was playing with a 360 Gamepad, and even the Context Sensitive actions on the screen displayed as 360 Buttons

So confirmed?

On a second note, the PC version appeared much better than the Console, and the computer they were using had 480 SLI, the framerate was really good, and I think the occasional dips it suffered were because it was the Alpha version, not because of the Graphics cards

You went to E3? How are you in the industry, exactly?
