Is there something like the rock-it launcher in FNV

Like in fallout 3 it could shoot out any trash and garbage you find.

Sadly Obsidian really gave us the short end of the crafting stick when it comes to the Schematic weapons. WTB Railway launcher, my soul PST.

can you actually use missiles for a gun? Or do you have to sell/give them away?

the Rock - It launcher in F3 was a bit of a pun on words. bascialy it will fire the junk you pick up. (plates, tedybairs, tin cans, and so on)

I suspect the real reason why they did not bring over crafted weapons was because with survival its already a bit of a pain keeping "parts" for food-Chems-poisons-Drbags-weapon repair kits on hand. even with the mailboxes.

Well I know you can get the unique one from Black mountain but just regular ones will be used by enemies, it's been awhile since i've played so i'm not sure who exactly uses it.

While it may be fun (I can't say as I never used it), Rock-It Launcher is a completely unrealistic weapon. I mean come on, you can't decapitate a super mutant with a friggin teddy bear no matter how hard you launch it.

If I were a modder and I wanted to add it back in New Vegas, I'd make it Wild Wasteland.

The schematic can be found in Nellis AFB but you cannot craft one. That is truly a pity now that the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Gold_bar for the Rock-It Launcher arrived in Dead Money....the idea of killing folks with gold bars is so novel it makes me want to use the Rock-It Launcher for the first time.

So after looking around, theres no use for most of the shishkebab/DK gauntlet items. So why can't I has my flaming sword of justice, or the ultimite in unarmed combat? On that note, why no alternative to nuka-grenades? We get time bombs and powder charges oooooh so scary, I want a victory grenade. I even got a good recipe for it-

1 Nuka victory
1 turpentine
1 Abraxo
2 Tin Can
1 Duct tape

Makes 2 grenades. They could be a weaker form of the nuka-nade.

This game was really lacking in the weapons creation area, I'm sure they could add some schematic weapons in in a DLC if they wanted to. I kinda wanna see the Mantis sythe TBH.

A Super Mutant however, is also not tooo realistic.
The makeshift weapons were a pretty awesome concept. The Railway Rifle in particular, was super fun. Pinning Muty heads to walls was one of my favorite things in Fallout 3.
I was surprised they got mostly sacked, given the overall emphasis they put in crafting in general.

I think they should have added at least some of the craft weapons...Rock-It Launcher, Dart Gun, Railway Rifle, DC Gauntlet, a variant of the Nuka Grenade...to Wild Wasteland to give it more content. Since WW is intended to be over the top and silly, why not?

It is realistic within the context of the game. Basic laws of physics, however, still apply in the game.

I'm fine with the rest of them. It's just Rock-It Launcher I find unfitting. And yes, I agree craftable weapons would be nice to have back.
