What To Do With The Retail DVD Disc?

Post » Thu Jul 09, 2009 12:35 am

I bought New Vegas today and registered my version via Steam, so now it recognises it as a Steam application. But what do I do with the retail disc? Can I sell it on or do I need to keep it because the code in it is now linked to my Steam account?

I reccommend keeping it. You won't need it normally, but having a hard copy is better since you won't need to redownload it if you want to reinstall for any reason, and you can't sell it either because it's a Steamworks title, so it's going to need Steam no matter what

keep it
use it as a coaster
use it for target practice.
microwave it in a microwave you plan to throw away instantly afterwords
mail it to a random place in the world for no aparent reason.

Cut it into tiny pieces and use as components in a makeshift nuclear device.

Keep it, your descendents may have one of the rare retail disks left in the world.
