Just bought the game and it installed just fine. The problem begins with the second disk of extra content that came with it. I use vista 64x, just thought I would throw that out there. When I try to install the second disk all I get is that blue circle appear (guess it replaced the hour glass) and nothing happens no matter how long I wait. When I close out "my computer" I get the 'this has stopped working' message. In which case I must click "end now".

The other problem is the v1.7 patch that I DL from the site. It goes through the entire install until the end which results in an error..."The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to let you know I have Vista-64 and the patch installed fine. My DLC appears to be fine - although it starts slow - like 10 minutes slow. One suggest try turning of antivirus during the patch and DLC installation.

Yeah it would seem I just didn't wait the 10 minutes of nothing before it decided to proceed. Patch v1.7 still doesn't work. I get the same error.

I'm having the exact same problem with my system.I've uninstalled,then reinstalled the game,downloaded the 1.7 patch,and had the same thing pop up.Anybody have a solution to this? I was hoping to fix the constant crash's and freeze up's.I'm an old fart and not really computer savvy.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
