"Return to Yes Man" keeps popping up

Post » Sun Jul 12, 2009 1:36 am

Anyone else have "Return to Yes Man" popping up as a quest objective (from "Wild Card: Change in Management") every now and then when the quest isn't active, or even when another quest is active? I'd love to get rid of that without having to complete the quest since I am siding with the NCR.

Walk up to him, engage in dialogue, dont continue his quest line.

"After a uneventful patrol.....for once" Actually Mako, i had that problem as well, and i went back to him and did everything short of letting him take over House's Mainframe(i was doing the NCR backing at the time) and still it did it, i almost wanted to shoot that Smiling piece of [censored], but i finished the game with that same message flashing, i hope a future patch will fix that. On that note, i think i will have a stern taking to with the scribes about pranks, and get some well needed rest, after some Sugar Bombs.

Well I had this happen too, however I talked to Yes man and opened up the Wild card quest line. Since lots of whats he wants you to do early on is the same as the other powers or just meeting up with the local tribe it would pop up saying I completed wild card quests as I was helping the NCR.

In my latest house PT I didn't inquire about bennies plans so never go the Wild card quest line marked. So it never popped up.

Yeah when I got the message, i though it was the game being dramatic about me taking control of Vegas, it stopped after i turned in the "kill House" quest.

I had that when I suddenly switched to supporting the legion after initially following the yes man path. I ignored it, but it was a a bit odd to have "return to yes man" flashing up as the end slides were playing.

I don't think I have had that bug. But then again I never pay attention to the quest updates so I might have.

"While helping the Initiates" While i was not happy for doing the "Happy dance" for an hour, I am sure i think someone else will not appreciate being in the bathroom for a while after taking my Sugar Bombs, though i appreciate the save. :wavey:

By the way, before i started the day, i injected prune juice into most of your lastest food shipment to Fort Banister, i think that will gum up the works for a while. :whistling:

Anyway, this time i will not have any problems with the glitch, i'm going with Yes Man. Now back with the Initiates......

 I never knew Power Armors could be infected by a virus... *Installs RobCo Security Essentials in his suit*

The thing is, you can't fail Yes Man's quest, so that's why reminders of it continue popping up

At least I'm not the only one then. I wish you could fail the Wild Card quests but for now I guess the 3 I started will just sit in my list of quests.

It's because i'm such a gentleman and not because I don't pay attention.
